The first marcher arrives, followed shortly by the rest.
This summer, Christian Aid is asking people to walk the walk on climate change, and join the longest
ever protest march in UK history. In all the march will last 80 days and cover 1,000 miles.
It will see marchers from rich countries and poor spread the "Cut the Carbon" message to companies and politicians.
The Cut the Carbon march aims to raise awareness all over the UK of the fact that climate change is
not just a forecast. It is happening now and millions of poor people are suffering.
The march started in Bangor, N Ireland on 14th July, and will eventually snake its way to the London Stock Exchange by 2nd October.
There will also be several major rallies and smaller local events along the way.
The "Cut the Carbon" support vehicles are electric, to keep the march as 'green' as possible.
They require about 8 hours recharging each evening, from a standard three pin socket, and have a range of about 40 miles.
The marchers enjoy some well deserved refreshments.
